The first Japan–China–Korea A3 Foresight On-Site Meeting was successfully held at Incubation CANVAS TOKYO (Kyobashi Edogrand, 29th Floor) from Monday, January 19, to Wednesday, January 21, 2026.
The meeting opened with welcoming remarks by Prof. Matsuura of Science Tokyo, followed by oral and poster presentations by researchers from Japan, China, and South Korea. Participants presented their latest achievements in artificial cell research and actively engaged in in-depth discussions during Q&A sessions on key scientific challenges and future research directions.
The poster session, in particular, fostered dynamic, face-to-face exchanges, providing an invaluable platform for interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration.
On the final day, a video message from Professor Han of Harbin Institute of Technology, the next host institution, was presented. The video introduced both the university and its host city, symbolically passing the baton to the next stage of the A3 Foresight collaboration and bringing the meeting to a successful close.
